Trilegal – RMZ Group’s joint venture with Colt Data Centre Services to invest USD 1,7bn in Indian data centre market
RMZ Group has entered into a joint venture with Colt Data Centre Services (part of Fidelity Investments group) for the development and operation of data centres across India. The parties have committed USD 1.7 billion towards the joint venture.
As a part of this transaction, RMZ Group entities will acquire stakes in two data centres – in Navi Mumbai and Chennai – as the initial projects that will form part of the platform.
Trilegal advised RMZ Group in connection with the joint venture and were responsible for structuring the transaction; undertaking a due diligence of the data center projects, drafting, negotiating and finalising the transaction documents.
