Minister: Uzbekistan initiates creation of a carbon-free data center
Uzbekistan is working to transform the country into an IT center,
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, stated this at a high-level roundtable dedicated to green digital activities, APA reports.
The Minister emphasized,
We are working to make our country an IT center, so IT companies can come and develop their businesses with us.
“To improve people’s lives, digital technologies, for example, more than 80% of all government services are now provided online. Additionally, given the growing demand for artificial intelligence capabilities in data centers, we are initiating the creation of a fully carbon-free data center in collaboration with our Saudi partners,”
