Linn County Board of Supervisors New Meeting Dates for Review of Proposed Data Center Ordinance
Linn County Board of Supervisors announce new meeting dates for second and third consideration of the proposed data center ordinance for unincorporated Linn County.
The Linn County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and first consideration for the proposed data center ordinance that would govern data centers in unincorporated areas of Linn County, outside of city limits. The meeting was held February 4 at 6 p.m. at the Palo Community Center. During the meeting, the Board passed the first of three required readings of the proposed ordinance. However, based on public comment during the meeting, the Board asked Planning & Development staff to do additional research prior to the second reading, which could result in amendments to the draft ordinance. Due to the time involved in completing the additional research, the previously announced dates for second and third consideration are postponed one week. The new dates are:
