CIMIC Group, through Leighton Asia, has been awarded a contract to construct a data center in Hyderabad, India.
The project is the second awarded to Leighton Asia by this major client and adds to Leighton Asia’s growing portfolio of data centers across the region in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Macau and the Philippines.
The data center is being delivered in joint venture with Sterling and Wilson and includes full civil, structural and architectural works, as well as the mechanical, electrical and plumbing fit out.

This project has a target for an Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
Construction will be completed in Q4 2026.
