Adam strengthens its commitment to Barcelona with a third data center
The technology company Adam has obtained the building permit for its fourth data center and has begun earthworks to begin construction. The center, which will be located in the Parc de l’Alba Sincrotró in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona), will begin construction this year, with the goal of being fully operational by 2027.
The new center owned by Adam and CVC DIF, the fund that owns the company, will have 7,500 square meters of space dedicated to state-of-the-art modular rooms. It will also have an installed capacity of 8 MW with Tier III classification (high reliability, redundancy, and availability). For the first phase of the project, scheduled to begin operations in 2027, four modular rooms with a total capacity of 4 MW will be incorporated.

To increase its autonomy and energy capacity, the new center in Parc de l’Alba will use photovoltaic panels, with the goal of continuing to advance toward climate neutrality by 2030. The new center will join the company’s network of data centers. This network will consist of the Barcelona centers (Parc Tecnològic del Vallès and Parc de l’Alba) and the Madrid data center (Alcalá de Henares), reaching a total installed capacity of 14 MW spread across 14,500 square meters of facilities.
